Did any one read Punisher volume 5 yet? I thought it was better than Mother Russia, but not as good as the others. It was not as violent as the others but was by far the most gruesome. Alsohas anyone found the new volume of Fury yet?

I am a big Ennis fan (obviously with both my title and my picture) but I find Ennis to be at his best when he is being funny and at least semi-light hearted. His Punisher series has never worked for me. I stopped reading sometime in Mother Russia.

When Ennis uses more humor and light heartedness to his grit and grime you get masterpieces such as Preacher and Hitman. Hitman is the only comic that ever made me cry, there were scenes in that book that were so touching. But it was also massive fun.

Im out- find me on Hordelings if you want to chat.

Did you read Fury? That had a non serious tone most of the time, very much like Preacher. I am not a big fan of Ennis, but I am a big fan of Punisher and Nick Fury so I have to take what I can get.

Well, I'm not really into the super hero thing. I like the normal human characters. I like Marvel's the best but I have been known to dabble in Batman.
