| I will definitly get the Wii....No doubt. Its not that expensive and it will have metroid, zelda, mario ect.
The PS3 I REALLY want but $600 is nuts. Im unsure.
No XBOX or XBOX360 for me. | |

| I have a XBox 360. I di not want to spend $400 but caved in for Oblivion. It was worth it but. I will get a Nintendo when Zelda comes out. I imagine the Ninrendo will launch at about $250.
There is no way I am paying $600 for a PS3, especially after the previous Playstations. Not one was as great as they are hyped to be. Sony will have to do something seriously great to have even a faint chance of my business. | |

| The price of the PS3 is just fracking nuts and there is no killer app that says "you must get a PS3." Maybe a 10-20% chance of buying one eventually, though it will take a major price drop.
The 360 has GTA4, Halo3, and Gears of War and costs substantially less than a PS3. Also, they will likely knock about $100 off the price right around the time the PS3 launches. Chance of buying one around 95%.
The Wii looks like a sandwich maker and the graphics are ass, but the pwiice will be wiight and it plays old games. As a bonus the Wiimote Contwol might entice my wiife to play more. Chance of buying one about 50%. | |

| I've got an X-box 360, and I am interested in the Playstation 3. I like the 360 a lot so far, but I am still looking forward to a day when there are more titles available.
Nintendo Wii, meh. Nothing against the system, but the majority of Nintendo games really don't appeal to me. The last Nintendo console I liked was the Super NES. | |

| Just to let you know...The new Zelda will be for Gamecube. You can play it on the Wii and it has special features if you do...But its unnecessary.
The PS3 is going to be crazy expensive because it can play DVDs...And it will be able to play the new Blu-Ray High Def DVDs. Sony is pushing for Blu-Ray to be the new video format so they are making it a feature on the PS3 wether you want to play DVDs on your game system or not.
I feel this will be the reason Blu-Ray will win the High Def DVD format war.
PS3 also is rumered to get exclusive rights to World of Warcraft...Thats gonna be huge for them.
XBox had Knights of the Old Republic and Halo exclusively...Other than that Playstation kicks its patoot! :)

| I just got done buying a ps2, xbox, and finally a gamecube for my boys. I swear they are never satisfied. *sigh*
It's going to to torque me off when the new games only come out on the new consoles, and my kids start clamouring for Disney Extreme Skate 2 or whatever.
I'll be damned if I'm gonna drop more cash for even more updated hardware. Aren't the 3D graphics good enough now?
Give me solid 2D gameplay over graphics any day.
I still load up old CRPGs because I miss turn based combat.
Maybe thats why I got into D&D minis, and skirmish. I miss the old days, before glitzy fads and real time oriented combat. Oblivion is the only exception that I have liked, but it's quite a different game.
I'm guess I'm more of a "Strategy RPGer" where you assemble a party and have plenty of time to make each combat decision.
If.. you told me they were doing a remake of all the Gold-Box D&D games with new graphics, and turn-based combat as an option. You could sell me any PS3, XBOX 4, WiiWii, or whatever system it came on. | |

| As soon as I figure out where I'll be working in July, I will probably pick up a 360, assuming that I can get my big screen fixed.
Damn green went out on it! No sense in having a 360 with no high def tv to play it on.
And, no chance will I be spending 1 penny on any SOny products and unlikely to buy nintendo stuff. My original nintendo with RBI Baseball, Super Tecmo Bowl and Tetris is all I need from them. | |

PS3...no way. I use to be a big Sony fan, but $600 is waaay to damn much for a system. I could buy top of the line PC parts for that much and still have enough left over to buy a Wii. The only thing that will interest me is the inevitable Silent Hill that will come out for it, and a Price drop of about $300
360, I'll wait for a decent enough price drop on this one. I want Oblivion, Halo 3, and probably Fable when it hits, but that's about it right now... | |

| I'd really like a 360. No interest in the other 2, though I'd bet my kids will ask for a Wii (and at the expected price, you never know...).
That said, my understanding of both the 360 and the PS3 is that if you don't have an HD TV, your unable to take full advtange of the amazing graphics, in fact it would only look marginally better than current formats.
If you have a 360 with a standard TV, let me know how it plays!

| I just picked up my 360 a few weeks ago and have not regretted that purchase at all. Oblivion has grabbed my soul and won't let it go. Also, the gamer score for achievements has inflamed my very competitive nature and makes me seek out ways to get higher scores than people on my friends list.
The Revolution (I won't aknowledged that wiitarded name they gave it) will be an immediate purchase for me.
The PS3 is another thing though. I have loved the PS as my favorite system line for a while now (Final Fantasy is a HUGE part of that). I think I will end up having to wait for a dramatic price drop before I make one mine. | |

Xbox 360 = No new Halo. Essentially no launch titles. Everything was also available on other platforms/PC.
No reason to buy Xbox 360 until Halo 3 comes out and the price drops substantially [:D]
PS2 = Huge collection of awesome games
PS3 = Backwards compatability and Blue Ray.
I'll strongly consider picking one up. Biggest consideration is what launch titles are available. If Sony drops the ball as badly as Microsoft did, I'll wait.
N64/Super NES/Game Cube = Have them, they work
Wii = Spend more money for something I already have that works.
I'll pass completely. My sister, on the other hand, will definitely be picking this one up. | |
