| Any Godzilla fans out there?
If so Scifi channel is showing a godzilla marathon tommorrow 8 to 6 central.

I am a HUGE Godzilla fan.
I have one side of my den filled with Godzilla toys from japan (a very expensive hobby by the way)
I own every G movie ever made on VHS or DVD :)
I cant explain the appeal of monsters that are obviosly rubber suits and tanks and building that are obviously models....But its just AWSOME :)
Pretty neat that shey are showing G-movies from the old Showa Era. The Showa era are the movies that came out 1975 and earier. Those are the nostalgic ones.
The last film on the marathon list is "Godzilla,Mothra and King Ghidorah". That movie came out in Japanese theatres 2001. Its really strange. Its a new sequel that only recognizes the 1st movie as cannon. It totally re-writes Godzilla origion. He is now the spiritual embodyment of the anger of all the japanese that died in WWII. Mothra, King Ghidora and Baragon are in it..but they are guardian spirits from ancient times that have been asleep until awkended by magic.
Its a very different plot that stands alone from the other G-Movies...but its VERY cool. You should definitly watch it if you havent.
