| "Ghendar" is the name of probably my most memorable player character.
He was a fire loving human sorcerer who started off in the Forgotten Realms, took a brief trip to both Ravenloft and Spelljammer before junkets on several elemental planes. Along the way, he saw several of his teammates polymorphed into goldfish, sold his soul and became a half fiend, saw all his teammates become either half fiends or half celestials and one even a mummy, took a few levels in dragon disciple, tried to convert just about everyone he came into contact with to the worship of the Firelord, Kossuth, was attacked by a door in a haunted house, was killed by a door in City of Spider Queen, and finally became one with the nothingness when he came just a little too close to an umbral blot.

| Corim Danex is a name I created for a science fiction book I tried to start writing when I was about 12 years old. That was about 19 years ago. I didn't get that far into the story, having written several short chapters. I created several names for different characters, but this is the one that was for a kid about my age that was sort of going to be me in that book. The book was to take place after the year 3000 something. The funny thing was, I had at least one technological idea that has already been surpassed by today's technology. It seemed cool at the time.
When I was about 13, I incorporated Corim Danex into my signature for about a year. I added a stylized CD after my first and last name. | | "Look to God and live." Alma 37:47 Vindicated Champ of Hippogriff (Arcadian Hippogriff) and Uncommon Horse | |

| I have to admit the name was originally a tribute to one of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time characters, the Forsaken Tel Janin Aellinsar, a great general and warrior.
As Jordan's books decreased in quality, I actually wanted to change the username... but it then occured to me that Jordan didn't come up with the name himself. He took it from mythology, didn't he, so all I had to do to divorce the name from its Jordanite roots was to associate it with its true origins.
Sammael (often spelled with one "M," but I greatly prefer the double-M spelling) is a fallen angel from Hebrew mythology. According to some sources, he is one and the same with Lucifer. According to others, he is similar to Lucifer in status, but a wholly separate entity.
