As for my username, I usually go by Angus of Bane on the WOTC boards and the Hordelings boards. That is a combo of Aspect of Bane and my nickname Angus. As for how I got Eliminator53, I tried the Angus of Bane one here (look it's still there) but eventually forgot it. I made another one and figured I would use half of my Bounty Hunters name from Star Wars RPG, Arando the Eliminator. So I picked it and added my favorite number to it, 53. I suppose it's better than the character "Zabnor the Fruitless" who's name I use when I'm clueless. Long story there too. Ask me sometime if we meet. | | Never teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of time and it annoys the pig.

| MortusBard was a varient of my original screen name back in the early 90's ( Soulbard / Bardicsoul )
I am a poet and writer. I tend to write on the dark side of things. I believe that we can learn alot about ourselves from how we view death and the act of dying.
Mortus = Play on latin Morte = Death Bard = A teacher or teller of stories and histories.
Any way I have one book in print with another soon to hit the shelves. I used Mortusbard on the Cover along with my name so internet poets might recognize the work. I have decided to keep it active wherver I go.

It actually has more meaning than the one I use. Ugh! So after reading this thread I wish I had used my yahoo id instead, d'oh! Sirohk is his original name but currently only a name of a famous hero as he arranged his own death and changed his name. | Came from a D&D character of mine. I seem to remember, too, that there were a lot of haughty-sounding, title-adorned screen names on WotC when I started using their message board. It was, in part, poking fun at other people's screen names, though I'm sure I was the only one who got the joke. I do that a lot--say things to amuse myself and leave other people wondering what the heck I'm talking about. Anyway, I carried the screen name to maxminis when I started using this site.
There was a time I also had a screen name "Faragdar the Bonehead" on WotC. I used that screen name to reply to a thread whenever I realized I'd posted something colossally stupid. Again, most people didn't get the joke--that it was self-deprecating humor--and they thought somebody with extremely poor taste was poking fun at me. And, eventually, WotC deleted my 2nd screen name because it violated a policy of creating screen names designed to impersonate other people, etc. | | "Before God we are all equally wise - and equally foolish." - Albert Einstein Champion of Myopic Half-Orcs Winner, WBC X

| It's on my business card.
No really it is. I run a wine and beer making supply store (and now a gaming store). I used to make up a different alias everytime I wrote up the company newsletter. I got that idea from the editor of Groo the Wanderer comic books I collected 2 decades ago. He changed his title every issue.
The Beer Baron just seemed to pop up more often, so I put it on my business card. I could call myself Proprietor, Owner, CEO, President or whatever, like every other business owner. Boring! I just don't take it too seriously. On my counter right now I have business cards that say: The Beer Baron, The Prince of Pilsner, The Mayor of Merlot and the Sheriff of Shiraz. I joke with my customers that they can collect and trade them all! My GameKnight biz cards have me as ***** **********, DungeonMaster.
So when I signed up here, it was the first thing I thought of. I've had so many memerable D&D characters that to use one of their names would be an insult to the rest. Otherwise I would have gone by Barnaby Wilde, Redwood, Sir Patrick of Pending, Dirk Dark, Rip Foster, Nicodemus, Angus Grummore MacGoldigger, Hallertau Hershbrucker, Gnaw Scarbone, Deek the Sneak, or my new persona Gnermin Tiberius Ratbatter - Gnomish Ratcatcher (Rogue Ranger with maxed out ranks in profession: Ratcatcher). | | "GameKnight Games and Cool Stuff Winnipeg's source for RPGs and minis!" www.gameknight.ca

| Well back in the day when i was in middle school, when the internet was still in it's infancy, infact there was only one computer in the school, oh and i was wearing an onion on my belt. where was I. right, my school chums and I were fans of the "W.W.F" now "W.W.E", they had to change there name after the world Wildlife Fund won there lawsuite against the "then" World Wrestling Federation. anyways so me and the guys would have backyard werstling matchs and we all pretented to be famous wrestlers. but kind of like the cheap ripoff versions ya know like the toys that look like the hot selling toys, they usally pop up around christmas. so we had the "hitman" "Big sexy the midgt killer" "shaver Ramone" And I was, are you ready? "StoneFro Steve Austin" mainly because i have near indestrucable hair. I used to sell the hair form my haircust to the steel wool factory, i made many a penny till the steelworks union came a ponuding on my door. where was I? ok so the Stonefro name stuck and that became my nickname (hey it was better than the guy we called "Windy") So when the new fangled Internet came along and everyone and there dog got an email adress, i figured hey why not. that was the start of stonfro on the internet.
Now I told you that stroy to tell you this one i was still wearing an onion on my belt when the year 2000 reared it's ugly head, so i figured i'd update my username. so there you have it the orign of my user name! | | "Well maybe Mr. T hacked the game and created a Mohawk class! Name of the current DnD Character when I joined Maxminis. She was a rare female character for me, a halfling spell thief named Cassie, but quickly was morphed into Mama Cass.
