| People usually tack in onto a word that they are not sure the spelling of, so that others reading know that if the words spelled wrong its not from lack of trying.
Example: The capital of Iceland is Rakyavik(sp?) Is that the proper spelling? maybe but I don't know so I tack (sp) or (sp?) on. | | Champion of the Alhoon and my called shot for Unhallowed Blood War Called Shot: Phoenix Trade withe me! | |

| Also, there are tons of other little "grammar style" type things, like, [sic] — to indicate that an incorrect or unusual spelling, phrase, or other preceding quoted material is a verbatim reproduction of the quoted original and is not a transcription error. Which is why newspaper folks (especially sports writers) use it to show they understand grammer but the person they are interviewing doesn't...[)]
