| That looks really cool.
Is it going to be a completely new game, or something akin to HL2: Episode 1? | | Champion of the Mimic; Knight of the Caryatid Column Called Shots: Unhallowed - Tomb Mote Vindicated Called Shots: Blood Wars - Solar Aberrations 60/60, Deathknell 60/60, Angelfire 60/60, Underdark 60/60, Wardrums 60/60, WotDQ 60/60

| Wow! That looks like a fun game, I am definitely looking forward to its release!
Leave it to Valve to set the standard for the first person action/shooter. Again. | | Champion of the Revenant Knight of the Elf Duskblade Complete Trades: Oni, Kidkach, Melrune, callidusx3

Don't quote me, but I'm thinking it's for something along the lines of HL2: Episode 2.

| Yeah, I saw that trailer yesterday and was really excited. There's not a ton of innovation in FPS'es but it genuinely had the feel of a nifty puzzle shooter that would be as much fun to mess around with as to beat.
I'll be getting it for sure just to support new directions in game play ;)

| Apparently the game comes with the Half-Life 2 expansion, so I am pretty sure the game will require Half-Life 2 and perhaps it's expansion to be run.
I found an interesting tidbit about Portal. A group of college students created a game called Narbacular Drop, and after seeing it, Valve hired them to create Portal based on the concept of Narbacular Drop.
Narbacular Drop is available as a free download. It's a very short and very corny but very interesting and infinitely fun game. It's sort of a small taste of Portal, so if you're excited about Portal, check out Narbacular Drop here:
