I manage 8 people in one section of a department that contains around 100 people total.

Second level Software Analyst for a Helpdesk during the day for now(8 years baby) ..getting laid off soon .

By day, I'm a lowly Loan Processor--hopefully, I'll have the opportunity to change that soon.

By night, I'm a poor excuse for a (step)father and boyfriend and general nuisance.

During the winter, I'm a hockey fan (cheering my boys to knock down any WMU Broncos  they happen across) for NCAA, USHL, AHL and NHL teams.

I also moonlight as a football fan (Go, Steelers!).

During the Spring and Summer I wait for hockey and football season to start back up.

I got my Masters Degree in Middle English Literature this february. Since then I've gotten a job where I'm organising conferences, courses and seminars for the Pharmaceutical Research section of Leiden University, about 6-8 a year. Is basically a spiced up secretary's job, pays lousy and has nothing to do with any of my interests. I'm just here for the job experience, hope to be somewhere else this time next year.

By day I work in finance do investigation work on fraud cases and butting heads with government agencies about policies in between mind-numbingly boring crap when I help out other departments or even some of my own "base" duites".

By night I wish I had a studio to pound away in so the neighbors can't complain and do some dad stuff, boyfriend stuff, playing sports stuff and even have a life outside of that. I miss having people come to my place to jam. I HATE carrying and setting my kit up everywhere.

Chemist / Engineer / Management by day. 

Dad / Husband all the time.

I mean, it's not like you're a Wolver *spit* ine, a Spar *blargh* tan, the "Fightin' *hic* Irish" or even a [M]ildcat, but the Broncos are still the opponent.

Of course, that's just hockey.  Anything else is cool. 

Right now, for the summer, I help my dad on the farm. No animals, though. Just hay, straw, grain, pouring concrete curbs, miscellaneous things that pop up now and again. Then in September I go back to school for my last year before hopefully going to college the next year or two, three at most, after that. Before then, I hope to make enough money to pay for said secondary education. Most likely will take courses required for careers that work mainly with artwork, computers, and/or video but I might get into a trade and be a cabinet-maker or something as the like as I enjoy working with wood. Nothing better than the smell of sawdust first thing in the morning................................

I am a full time student studying to be a high school science teacher.

I work part time at a Self Storage and Uhaul business. It is hellaciously busy and frustrating in Florida, as everybody from everywhere is moving here. But it keeps me from working in the hot sun at the home farm.

At home I am a blacksmith, err my dad is. I apprentice. I would like to get into furniture making and woodworking instead.
