I think he's still hamstrung by the prohibition against fighting in the city. And though she should lose all her paladin abilities, now, none of those really helped her be a better fighter against the OotS except maybe lay on hands (and divine grace vs. Varsuvius' spells). So she should still be able to beat the crap out of our heroes. After all, now that she'll probably be elevated to recurring villain status, she remains thoroughly protected by the plot line. | |

Roy and Hinjo should be able to smoke Miko without Belkar. As a Monk though, if she wants to escape she will.

More likely a dilemma of ganking or shagging (Belkar doesn't seem to be the dating type). [Is there a little Belkar in you? Would you like some? :o]
Miko was a setup for fallen status (WAY too much angst from day 1).
Considering the last few months' strips I wouldn't be terribly surprised to see Miko wandering around blathering in some unintelligible cypher script since we finally are getting a reprieve from Haley doing it.
