| Thronton is hungry big time. If any team should have co-captains it would the Sharks. Patty is the quiet team leader, he's been on the team his whole career and carries a big weight queitly.
If Dean Lombardi was still in charge, I'm sure he'd be gone. There would be others who'd agree.
We are up 2-1, more fun is going to be had I'm sure. Wings become chippy and take stupid penalties. The Great White Shark power play wakes up with a few tweaks.
Sharks win game 4, go back to Detroit, Wings win game 5.
Going back to Cali, to Cali to finish the series.
I guess it'll be the Ducks...sigh.
C'mon Canucks make it easy for the Sharks.

| Wow, did the Sabres dodge a bullet or what last night.  Drury scores the tieing goal with 7 seconds left and then they pull it out in overtime. A big phew!  Now its back to NYC and trying to win one on the road.

The Rangers were very tough and it was a great series. They played great defense and thier goalie was playing absolutely out of his mind / standing on his head.Â
Now bring Ottawa!Â
This should be a great series - one and two in the division. Ottawa won the season series 5-3. That huge fight that took place mid season where Neal cheap shotted Drury and knocked him out for some 8 games and their two goalies squaring off in a fight. Some serious hatred between these two teams.Â
I'm predicting Buffalo in 6.Â

I do agree it will be a great series. I will wager it will be the best of the payoffs. Sabers tore out my heart last year.

| The Sabres are now down 0-2 and things are not looking so good right now.  They're going on the road and have been a good road team this year, but the Senators are playing very very good right now and they've dug themselves a deep hole. Â
They just don't seem to be able to put 3 good periods of hockey together. They have not been playing very well and they seem to missing something in thier play.Â
It's not 0-4 yet and they have 2 more chances to get thier act together or else its it will be time to get the golf clubs out. So I'm still holding out a little hope.Â

Miller played awesome last night and it must have been frustrating for the Sabres fans to watch. They lost the series Saturday night in OT.
Oh and Canada won the worlds on mother's day!!! yay gold!

The Sens are really playing great this playoff run and its also nice to see Alfredson playing like he should in the playoffs.Â
Anyone see where the real Sabres are? They sure are not playing against the Sens (except for maybe Miller and Lyndman).Â
Its sad to see a team than played so well all year not show up for the biggest series of the season. I would not mind seeing them loose, but not this way.Â
