| Well it's my favorite time of the year if only following it via the internet and the paper.
Thanks to my Sharks but that is a story to be talked about elsewhere-The Habs are out-.
Well have you got a favorite? I know there some out there picking the Sens just cause but there is a downside to that of course.
Let's take a quick looksie...
Ducks have the best D in the playoffs....look at what happened to Detroit. Their goalie is great and they beat Hasak! How old is that guy? 42 and still playing like he did back in the day. Whoa.
The Senators are carrying the flag of a country that hasn't won a cup in a few. I think they are the team to do it. I only say this because I have heard good things about them. They are hungry and wanting to win it all. The passion is there and I can respect that!
Are the Sens the new Canadians? Under a microscope and pressure of the press. I am not up to speed of the team as a whole. Though Tom Pressing from the Sharks now is in the mix. My glimmer of hope.
My opinion is this for me anyway is, I hate(dislike) Chris Pronger with a passion. I feel that this will be the best series in a awhile. The Sens in 7 is my prediction.

| Well seeing my Home City is in the finals!!!!!! Whoohoo!!! You guess it the Sens!
The city is full of excitement like I have never seen it...this city can be very dry naturally...but hockey has brought it back to life this year.
Alfie has finally really turned it on this playoff unlike alot of the past years and Fisher is just plainly rocks. Heatley and Spezza are right up there too and our evil goaltender is well on his toes!
I'm calling Sens in 5! (crosses fingers and raises Red Sens Flag)!

| Ottawa has the better first line in Spezza/Heatley/Alfredsson. After that, the Ducks are deeper at the forward positions. Ottawa's defence is good, but the fact that Anaheim will always have a Norris Trophy winner on the ice makes theirs better. I believe that both Giguere and Bryzgalov are better than Emery, but Emery is hot right now and sometimes that's all you need in the playoffs. Both teams are hungry, as neither has won in recent history - I'm not gonna count the Sens of the 20's.
Anaheim in 6 or 7, the Niedermayer brothers want to raise that Cup together. | |

Bah, I'm from Cali and I am going with the Senators just because Pronger plays for the Ducks. How I depise him, sure he is a great(dirty at times)Â player. I don't find him likeable at all.

Couldn't agree more. When he's healthy and on his game, Pronger IS the league's best defenceman. But, for some reason, I can't bring myself to liking him either. | |

I would give my left n*& to have Brad Stuart back in the Sharks fold. It would be a shame to see Scott Hannen leave. It seems every anchor the Sharks have on D get traded or sign elsewhere. I am hoping that it isn't a repeat of years before, this off season. My rant is acticapation as the many things may happen this summer for San Jose. For starters sign Chris Drury already! Hello? Comes thru during the playoffs, hard worker, what more do you want?
Okay that being said, the Sens have a chance to take over the series at home. A win can change the series big time for them. However, if the Ducks gain an early advantage play wise; it'll only be a repeat of game 2.

| It's a series again, 2-1.  The Sens played a great game last night. They came to play, hit and hustle.  They were also the benefactors of a poor call. That puck was definately kicked in. Regardless, they would have still won by one goal.Â

the part that really has me this the "lets take out fighting cause then the american will watch the game more"
I'm pretty sure the people south of us don't want to see this sport turn into a bunch of wimps and wussies.
Whats up with that...? Screw that! Fighting and roughness is right up there with the sport as much as stickhanding and great passing. If it ain't broken don't fix it......! Except maybe the monster elbow pads that I can see. "HACK THE BONE!!!"
As for the Sens a great trailer park boy once said "thats the way she goes boys" I still have glimmer hope but 3 in a row is bad. | |

| ...Alfie's shot... I don't see what the big deal is. either somehting was said (between the captains) or it was an (cough) accident. found it quite amusing actually. i do think it was stupid as it served no purpose other than to motivate the ducks.
Danny Heatly is the smallest 6'-3" player I've ever seen. The sens need to find a way the tap Fisher's heart and soul and implant it into Heatly and Spezza.
With the way the Sens are playing.. they don't deserve the cup. Duck's don't need to change a thing.
