| We hear all the time about the marvels of modern technology, but what "marvel" really gets under your skin?
For me, it's gotta be text messaging. I know i'm an old Grognard and a Luddite, but I just don't get it. I had a bunch of barely legal's in the store last night and they were texting away. It got on my nerves so bad that I was hoping one of them would take a picture with their spiffy camera phones so I could throw 'em out.
A close second is the stupid cell phone as a walkie talkie....I hate that noise. | | The year: 1994. From out of space comes a runaway planet, hurtling between the Earth and the Moon, unleashing cosmic destruction! Man's civilization is cast in ruin! Two thousand years later, Earth is reborn... A strange new world rises from the old: a world of savagery, super science, and sorcery. But one man bursts his bonds to fight for justice! With his companions Ookla the Mok and Princess Ariel, he pits his strength, his courage, and his fabulous Sunsword against the forces of evil. He is Thundarr, the Barbarian!

AS far as what I hate..... there's quite a bit. I do rather enjoy indoor plumbing however.

| "Simplicity" of design.
Drives me bloody nuts. I want 10,000 buttons on my iPod because I can actually figure out what they all do. It's much better than inefficiently wheeling through hundreds of menus for the sake of simplicity.
Also DRM in all of its forms. While I take no issue with companies protecting their IP, the bottom line is that I've had to on more than one occasion circumvent the DRM on a product that >I PURCHASED< because the way they set it up is incompatible with some aspect on my computer/dvd player/etc. As it can always be gotten around anyhow, I genuinely feel as if they're just irritating legitimate customers, and that REALLY ticks me off.

| VoIP Phones.
They are crappy quality, singular usage, and susceptible to all sorts of outages.

| I love Guns in my Fantasy Rpg actually.
I don't like having Dragon and Dungeon as online electronic mags.
