I was highly disappointed. It was more like, "Hey! there are video games! Some of them use things that resemble money! As they are all arbitrary, the developers made some things in game consume fewer units that things out of game!" I feel like the author would be impressed by how many pennies something would cost too... | |

I am speechless at the stupidty of people. Wait....no..........yes, I am speechless.

As I only have enough time to play for one hour a day, why wouldn't I want to spend real world cash for in game currency so that I could do something more fun during that hour than farm gold?
Any time a service is exchanged, cash changes hands :P sure wow gold isn't "real" in the sense of physical, but neither is the experience of watching a movie.

I dont like it as a player, and I think it does _bad_ things to PvsP games when wealth buys tougher characters.
Though freetime builds them stronger...
Most of my dislike is the RMTs (real money traders for game money/objects) method of advertising ie SPAM offends me more than what they are selling.
