| Heck, it wouldn't be that hard to make the game. SWM is pretty good base if you want to focus on the characters. If it's cool tanks and planes then there's axis and allies minis.

| Agreed, and that's what I would be buying. SWM sized GI-Joe minis would be perfect for my modern, horror and pulp games. You know what, I'm going to go through my SWM commons and uncommons to see what I can find. I've a feeling the Galactic trooper would make a good Cobra Trooper with the right re-paint.

6 minis per booster (1-2-3)

Also I was thinking, rather than trying to make all of the old Characters from the Show. Why don't we try to make up a few of our own?

Allright, both works for me too. Here's a link to the Wilki entry, I'm going to use it as a refrence.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GI-Joe
Now The first thing I think we ought to do is come up with stats and points for the Generic Cobra Minions and GI-Joe troopers.

| I could see that build. For instance I would imagine that there would be a large gap between the vast number of unique Joe's to their fodder counterparts, like they're the elite. While the Cobra forces are cheaper in general, they don't have as strong of guys. OR the reverse, where team work is a Joe thing and they're trying to bring down the tougher Cobra guys...
How about;
Cobra Trooper/Joe Infantry (5pts) HP 10 DEF 16 Att +4 DMG 10
Then we can build from there. | | Greyhaze's DDM Spoilers Champion of a Medium Dog & then a Darkenbeast , Raistlin Majere, Nightmare WDQ25/60, Warduke WD60/60, Anti-Champion of Guns, "Knight of Bugbears", and Joke Champion of Venger. | Looks good to me. Yeah I was envisioning the Joes as having mostly unique characters, however they do have some generic troopers to round them out. Cobra by Contrast only has a few Unigue Characters, however they have a Variety of Troopers.

| So just throwing some numbers out there, a typical Joe team might look like this:
Ripcord 20pts Scarlet 20pts Road Block 30pts Duke 40pts Flint 40pts Snake Eyes 50pts
And a Cobra Team like this:
Cobra Trooper x6 30pts Crimson Guard x2 30pts Baroness 30pts Storm Shadow 50pts Destro 60pts
Thought being that Cobra has cheap fodder, a few mid-ranged guys, but some higher cost "trixy" characters. The Joes are higher up than most fodder, but just end up below the high end Cobra costing dudes.
