| | As a repeat gag the elemetals are not bad. It's not happening that often and it is a variation of the air elemental. I think here it's not supposed to be the grand punchline in and of itself, like the Titanium one was but instad a running theme, like Durkon's hate of trees, Elan witty sayings, V's he/she jokes, etc. | |

I didn't think it'd go this way, but I could see it. Especially how she ratonalized everything in that last comic she could join Xykon thinking that is what the gods wanted. Looking forward to seeing how this thread resolves.

| She's not trapped in the pendant it just summons her. I think Miko will meet the ghost of the Soon and see that as her sign and help chase off Xykon and Redcloak, then she will talk with Soon and end up joining the Order of the Stick to protect the other gates. | |

Looks like my theory was way off, but I can't say I will be sad to see her killed off or turn evil. Sad? Turn evil? She was always evil. She just didn't know it - the stereotypically rigid paladin. By having her turn evil, now her rivalry with OotS is unambiguous. Roy won't have so much interference from other good guys when he has to give her the smack-down. Of course, Oots is building up quite a cadre of recurring villains.
Evil version of the Paladin is the Blackguard. It's a PrC in the DMG, I'm pretty sure. | |
