| One site I like to use is Prosper.com. They have this function where in each category of buyers they show the percentage default. It made me wonder if this can be done here. Since bad trades are hard to quantify with people being removed from the lists, is it possible to go through all the trades in the trade interface and see how many are positive, negative, or nuetral? Thanks.

I have no idea whether this is possible. However, back in the day when Zenako kept records of every transaction at Maxminis, the failure rate was very low. We had something like 80 problems in approximately 10,000 trades. The number of trades that have gone through this site since then is many times that. You can get a sense of the problems by looking through the disputed trades list.

| I've done that somewhat and I know it's pretty low. Just some of the comments made by people because of certain bad traders might make it seem to be a lot worse, number wise, than it is. Getting screwed stinks, and even one bad trade hurts the community, but if you see it's something like 0.8%, like the number you mention, it might alleviate some of the concern.
But I understand something like that can be hard to do. If I could do it easily, I'd do it myself.  Thanks for the response. | |
