| | I negotiated a trade using email in March a trade offer wad proposed to me on the 19th, we agreed on the trade on the 22th, I said I wanted to have the trade registered on maxminis (it was proposed officialy here thru the interface on the 23th).
The other person promised to ship on the 22th, he wrote in the proposal that he would ship first.
I sent him a message on the 15th of April, but he did not reply. I have not sent the minis yet (because he wrote that he would send first).
How long should I wait before I consider this trade cancelled ? He has not shipped the minis yet according to the interface.
I am sending him another email, just in case he has some trouble getting messages from maxminis. | |

| It's been a month now. This seems more than a reasonable amount of time especially if you have sent him several emails. If there was a legitimate reason for no minis, he should have told you by now, so there is no reason not to put him on the disputed trade list. If there is a legitimate reason, this might be a way to at least get you that information.

He did not reply to my email, or the comment I posted on the trade interface.
I have not received any minis. Well at least he wanted to send first so I have not lost anything.
He has not been active on maxminis since 03/23/2007 4:36 PM. I think he only registered here because I wanted to have the trade made thru the maxminis interface. | |

This might be obvous, but did you try the site you originally contacted him through? I think you should post the disputed trade here, but also you might want to do the same there if the email he used to register is something he doesn't check often. That wuld be wierd, but this whole trade issue is as well.

It would be in your best interest to file a dispute in the 'disputed trade' thread. Please post a brief summary of the dispute and I'll be more than happy to add it to the list. Since you haven't shipped or rec'd from him it'll be more than likely, a "failure to ship" issue. This does happen from time to time. But it does serve as a caution to other traders.
