Well, I went to my first real DCI Tourny. I went 2-2. I'm disappointed. But I had a lot of fun. Plus trading to complete my entire 6 sets and getting laminated tiles of Sandstorm, oh I also got a Butane Skeleton. Eye of Grummsh Red Samauri Orc Champion Zombie White Dragon Tiefling Captain Orc Savage Orc Warrior x4 Tiles: Assembly 6 Mushroom Tangle Hall of Heroes Treasure Room First Match Ever - Against a starting player as well. Beholder Spectre Kruthic Hordeling x2 Half-Orc Commander Dude... Skullcrushing Ogre... 1-0 Second Match - Inspired Beaters.. Inspired Marshel Frenzied Berserker x2 Goliath Barbarian 2 Greycloaks 2 Wolves Elf Spearguard Lost - 1-1 Third and the best match I've played in ever. LG Shields Gold Champion PDK Dwarf Artificer Halfling Vet Cleirc of Yondolla Dwarf Phalanx Fighters It Came down to a total of 10 points in between us. Note to Self. Cone of fear sux0rs 1-2 Fourth Match- A second new guy as well. Yuan-ti Abomination Chuul Eye Mountain Orcs x alot Orc Savage He turtled the Chuul up to an orc warrior I could easily do without and had orc champion charge and crit right next to my eye.. eye then charged... Won next initiative and killed the chuul before he got to attack. 2-2 It was a good match, I got to learn some new rules... and seen what I'll be up against at Qualifiers.

Yes, I think I actually had a chance against Gunthar this time, but I forgot to keep my dragon in front like I had planned. I also did not see the diagonal Gunthar saw. Still, had I run the Eye away and tried to use the dragon to kill the halfling, it would have been even closer. I think he then would have beaten my by about 15 - 25 points (as I would have had a hard time getting tile points). Oh well, it's not the end of the world to have your only loss against the guy who won the tourney, though I only got to play 3 rounds.
