| Yes they are, and I believe I am as well.
Doug spanked me both times we played, but the bonehead play of the day had to be tinking there was a wall where there wasn't, in the final round!
I rolled several ones, but I gotta give the credit to Doug, he beat me.

| Congrats to the top 4 in MN!
There is no doubt that this year is MUCH different than last year... Reporting on the events has increased dramatically, and of course there ARE more events.
It's much harder for anyone to come to a qualifier and "surprise the room", with a hither to unknown Tier 1 band.

| Congrats on qualifying and nice write up.
So do you think not playing for the past few months helped you at all, especially with your "top secret" band getting its cover blown right off the bat? | | Successful Trades (31) | Trades Pending (0) 12th Place in the 2005 Nationals, and I owe it all to the Minis Training Montage. I feel it did. Bonepinhimer and I kept our skils sharp by testing our bands during this period. When we go to a tourney we play to win, therefor we would play the bands we thought had the best chance of winning. If we had been to the tournements before the qualifier it would have given our opponents an idea of what we were going to play and allow them to consider our playstyles when constructing their bands.
I have no definative proof that it worked, obviously, but in theory I think it was a viable tactic. | | Email | Ebay Feedback Page | Maxminis Referance Thread | Have/Want List

| Yeah CE was all over the place. I think at the very least the top 8 were standard CE bands (and one non standard CG band) with the LRDs at the top of the heap.
I heard there were 2 LSD bands and one IF band. Other then that I dont know what showed up. | | Email | Ebay Feedback Page | Maxminis Referance Thread | Have/Want List
