Get boosters and build warbands: 11-1145am
Start to rumble: 12noon
Format: 500pt epic assault, so bring those epic maps.
Cost: $45, this covers the 2 booster each player will get + 1 booster for every 4 players to be added for a booster draft at the end.
Prizes:
1st/2nd: 2 WotDQ boosters each
3rd/4th: 1 WotDQ booster each
5th-last: Draft from boosters (depends on how many players show up, 1 for every 4) in placement order. Then back to the top again until they all run out.
HMS repaint (supplied by WotC).

Slaughterhouse...(with no dwarf to use it) and sorcerer on black dragon (which I expect to get 1 of in each case, plus the one I bought, plus 1 in a random booster, giving me 6 when I only need 1 or 2).

| My kids actually got my wife to get them onto Maxminis yesterday before I was home from work so they could start looking at the minis again. They wanted to know the release date.
It coincides with them getting their first orthodonture work done, so I may be giving them some of my minis to be their minis. | |

My 4 year old thinks so...he's got a rather full box of
stuff that dissappears from my collection boxes. Go figure
he likes dragons and giants the most. I went looking for my
hill giant barbarians the other day and he had all 8, along
with LSD, LRD, HRD, 2 beholders....at least he plays nice
with them. he's only broken one piece so far, he twisted the
axe head off of a dwarven werebear like 2 years ago.
Now back to your regularly scheduled time update 'till
the prerelease bigins...I can't hardly wait.

| | It was Bahamutland today. I almost felt in the minority for not pulling one. Goof thing I got one as a prize. I think the majority of them ended up in Minnesota. We had about 36 players and I think 8 Bahamuts were pulled, plus one in a prize booster and one in the prize draft. It was kind of cool as nobody ended up pulling dual Huge Rares. There will be another thread with results I'm sure, so I won't clog this one with many details. There were also (I think) 4 Aspects of Tiamat pulled and at least one more in the draft and maybe one more in a prize booster. Tundra Scouts were very few and far between, from what I saw. A few of the Bahamuts had some assembly/glue issues, and one Eldritch Giant was missing an arm, but most of the figs looked prety good. All players got two boosters from the same case, yet we did have one player pull dual-stirges. We were joking about the Stirge in the prize draft and if that one would go before a rare. | |
