Thinking about it - not real sure that going to Portsmouth on the 4th of July weekend is the smartest idea - I-64 will be a nightmare!! I may head north with you boys?
Haven't decided yet, but i'll find out more tonight. See what Josh wants to do.
Charles is it at the same place we played for the qualifier?

Please clarify what you find is unfair and I will try to explain it's reasoning. If it is in reference to the prize structure, this is an official wizards of the coast sponsored prerelease and is decided by them. As for everyone getting a prize, all participants recieve the 2 boosters they pay for by entering the tourny as well as the spider promo. | |

| | That's OK. We pulled 12 players anyway. Even with the high price tag that kept 3 or 4 other locals away. Ray and Isamu met in the top 2 and Ray was triumphant. And in a shocking display of kindness Isamu gave his 2 boosters for second to a couple new kids that were watching. It was awesome. Thanks to all the guys that played. It seemed like everybody had a good time. | |

Not suprised by the outcome... Those guys are fantastic players!!
Nice Win Ray - you have been due my brother! Isamu - that was a very nice gesture to "give" away your prizes... Will either Isamu or Ray be going to GenCon? If so guys let me know where you are staying, and what events you are playing in.

| Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to attend GenCon this year. I recently started a new job and doubt that they will give me a week off in august. This will break my streak of GenCon appearances at 3. :( . I will ask ray if he's going or not. If anyone is curious what myself or ray played:
Isamu:
Sorceror on black dragon (this guy rocks against anything not named tiamat)
Warden of the wood
Aasimar fighter
Griffon cavalry (epic)
Redspawn firebelcher
Hunting hyena
Small black dragon
Dragon claw monk
Ray:
Tiamat(Elemental resistance to all but sonic make SoBD suck)
Redspawn firebelcher
Greenspawn razorfiend
griffon cavalry (non-epic)
My only 2 losses were to ray and tiamat. I managed to decimate a Bahamat and several purple worms and spiders on my way to the top with the SoBD but just couldn't take the tiamat. Ray outplayed me this time. NO ONE opened a godslayer. My griffon cavalry was the laughing stock of the tourny since he arrived horribly bent to the point I was forced to put a large rock on the base to get him to stand during games. I feel bad because I gave 1 of my winning packs to my nephew who promptly opened a large fire elemental and a dragonborn fighter. The other pack went to dndjunkie who managed to power his way into the top 4 with some excellent use of what i saw as subpar boosters. Hopefully we'll have more amish sightings at the next tourny.
