Thanks to Brian for judging! As we were opening boosters, Tullywi across the table from me pops open his first, "Oh hey, look, Tiamat", I open a glorious Mountain Troll with Meepo. "At least Meepo may help subdue the cones" I think to myself. Then Tullwi opens the second, "Hey look, Godslayer." Oh geez! I popped open the reprieve, Bahamut, but didn't even notice him at first, lamenting over a wonderful Large Fang Dragon as my rare.

Only 6 players this time, way low attendance, but it was a small group and we only had to endure 3 swiss rounds. I wish I could remember names better, but little Whitewater provided 4 of the 6.

It was my first Epic sanctioned play and my what, 3rd sanctioned tourney overall, and I enjoy the live play more every time.

Warbands fielded included:
Tullywi=Tiamat & Godslayer & Twig
Zippy=Bahamut & Mountain Troll & Hyena & Twig
Josh=Purple Worm, Cadaver, Trog Cleric, Greenspawn, Blackspawn, WarApe, Witchknife, Storm Archer (?)
Kevin=Sorc on BDrag, Epic Griffon Cav, Syreth, Witchknife, 2x Dis Rat, ...(?)

And a few I did not face and don't remember [V] - please post your bands here if you want!

Odd with 6 people (1 case) to see Tiamat and Bahamut!

Sculpts and paint jobs are much improved this time around. Some of the assembly is sloppy (gaps between sections and flashing), and a few of the creatures missed the mark on painting, but overall a vast improvement from the UD disappointment.

Finally won a tourney - but the Tiamat / Bahamut showdown was down a single roll either way for the win, and all 3 matches were tight.

Yikes only 6. Was it just a combination of that convention and the holiday weekend?

*hopes we have more than 6 tomorrow*

Well, there was another tournament 60 miles away in Milwaukee at the exact same time. I'm not sure how many they had, but I've heard several people say that huges aren't really their thing.

Pretty sure it was, we normally have 20-30 range.
