How You Play the Game (formerly Altered States) in Syracuse NY is giving away a lot of prizes this summer! Posted below is the blurb from their website.

Tournaments on Every Saturday starting at 12:30. All sorts of events, 500 pt, 200 pt, Reverse Constructed, of all types so check their website to see what sort of tournament is coming up. It will run until September 2nd...hey that's my birthday!

Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures are a big hit here at Play the Game Read The Story, so big in fact that D&D Mini’s is the newest addition to our Summer Championship Series!! Starting July 1st, Players will earn points by entering D&D Miniature events held on Saturdays and Thursdays!! Special events will earn players double or even triple points!! Participation in an event will earn a player one point while placing top 4 or earning a sportsman prize will gain them an extra two points! Prizes include a case of the NEXT THREE D&D sets!! So come to How You Play the Game and earn points toward prizes just by PLAYING GAMES!!

Prizes for 2006
First: Case (12 boosters or 6 Huge boosters) of the next THREE D&D sets
Second: Case (12 boosters or 6 Huge boosters)
Third & Fourth: $60 Store Credit
5th to 10th: $30 Store Credit
11th to 20th: FREE D&D Mini’s Booster

We had 9 players at the 500 pt Tournament this weekend.

This Saturday (the 22nd) will be 200 pt Constructed Assault with Cave of Pain scenario.
