Ok, so here's what doesn't work in 100:

Warduke
Quaggoth x2
T-Wolf x2

I got squished by commanderless Tordek, who made his Intimidate morale; I routed an Eye and Orc Champ (OC made Intimidate but failed normal morale save, as did Eye); and I didn't face the War Troll band, but I'm sure it would've given me fits too. Warduke's 130 hp just don't last as long as I was hoping for.

Two matches isn't enough to really say the band doesn't work, but it does show some of its flaws. Warduke needs to make at least one morale save every game, is what it boils down to. Against Tordek, he was far enough from his exit that he got a morale check and 2 rally attempts, and failed all 3!

I really wanted to come to that, but I had a conflict and wouldn't have been able to get there before 7:30 or so.

I had three thoughts for bands...

Cleric of Lathander, Sacred Watcher x 3, Man at Arms x 2, Warforged Scout and Timber Wolf (8 acts/100 pts)

or

Hobgoblin Sergeant, Flameskull x 2, Wererat Rogue x 2, Goblin Skirmisher x 3 (8 acts/100 pts)

or

Drow Sergeant, Blood Ghost Berserker, Quaggoth Slave x 2, Stirge x 3 (5 acts/100 pts)

I liked the first one since the CoL would pwn enemy Watchers in a mirror match, and the second for the double fireball goodness.

How might I have done with these bands?
