10-15-06 Atlantis/TideCon D&D Minis Case Tournament (sponsored by the great guys at Atlantis Games & Comics) Where: TideCon 2006 Clarion Hotel 1809 W. Mercury Blvd. Hampton, VA 23666 forum.atlantis-comics.com (event details) www.mid-atlanticcons.com/tidecon.html (convention details) When: October 15th 2006 Start Time: 11:00am Entry Fee: 20.00 Event Details: * Assault format * 200-point Constructed warbands * Warband lists are required * Swiss rounds - 60 minutes per round * The number of swiss rounds will based on attendance with an additional round instead of top 4. There will be NO top 4 after the Swiss rounds. * All Universal Tournament Rules and D&D Miniatures Floor Rules are in effect for this event. * Players must bring pen, paper, battlemats, and appropriate counters. Prizes: 1st Place: 12 Boosters of current D&D Minis 2nd Place: 6 Boosters of current D&D Minis 3rd-4th Place: 3 Boosters of current D&D Minis Prizes are based on attendance of 20 players. Prize payouts may be adjusted up or down based on final number of players. Booster pack prizes may be held and redeemed for Blood War boosters which will be out 11-3-06. We also have a bunch of repaints & promos left over from previous Wizards events. Every player that attends will get one for entering. We will also be running 8 player single elimination sanctioned side events. Side events will start as soon as we have 8 players signed up. Planned side events include EPIC 500 point event Sealed Booster event Dreamblade Sealed events

This event is being held at a RPGA convention which takes place October 13th-15th. There will be RPGA events running the whole time. TideCon has worked out a special rate for anybody wanting to stay at the Clarion where the event is being held. Mention TideCon and get a room for $64 a night. And since it's in Hampton it won't be too bad of a drive for all you Richmond and beyond guys.

Where's the love people? And just to clarify...if you win the case you can save it for Blood Wars which comes out shortly after the event. We can even ship it to you if you like.
