| Hey all you guys out in Raleigh, our store in Charlotte screwed up and didn't get the pre-release paperwork in in time. So that means a road trip for us. Just wondering what kind of turnout you guys are expecting and if AFnG does anything extra for the extra $10. We'll be bringing as many as 8, probably 6.

| My wife and I had the choice of going to 2 different stores for this event, both are 3 hours 44 minutes away from my house. Because of a more scenic drive we will be accompanying the Charlotte Crew for this pilgrimage. We will be the ones riding Eizonragad's bumper.

| I was wondering what happened at Underground Games, but I am glad to know that they haven't stopped running release events. I hope to make it to the pre-release at All Fun & Games. I look forward to seeing you all there if I am able to go.

| I just spoke with with TO at All Fun And Games and it was suggested that everyone pre-register. (or at the very least get your name on the list for the pre-release - typically they will hold your spot until about half hour before the event starts; pre-pay and you're in.)
Any questions call them at (919) 233-7727. Please keep in mind for those that have not been to AFnG for a while that the store moved to the shopping center across Kildaire Road. (Lots more gaming space and tables than before!; they are in with Whole Foods now across the parking lot from Rudino's and near Red Hot and Blue [ and right next to the ATM machine ].

Kent and I will almost certainly be making the trip to All Fun & Games. I have yet to get a response from my e-mails to Steven, but I'll update you when I do. We might take you guys up on the carpool if there is room to spare, but if not, we'll be content to drive. So, do you know what kind of room there will be? Regardless of which one of us drives, we could only offer one more seat to other carpoolers if Steven goes, 2 if not. | |

| Wizards cut back the materials they have sent to AFnG for this prerelease and now the tournament will be capped at 42. 42 is still more than have been present for previous prereleases but keep in mind previous prereleases had alternatives closer than they do this time. I believe the mid-30s were present for the Underdark prerelease; DQ was 29; release tournament for War Drums was also 29.
AFnG is taking preregistration for this event. | |

| Well I was going to come up for WotDQ (couldn't get the Dairy Queen hat), but work overlapped. Hopefully I won't have pager duty for Unhallowed. The boy (Browncoat) was off to summer camp (Advanced Marine Electronics) already. We ordered from Amazon and did our own release tournament (He pulled Tiamat). Man this looks like it will be a great tournament. Browncoat and I decided it was playing with the Cary crowd that was the reason to go to this Prerelease. Now we get the Charlotte crowd as well. Outstanding.

| As of right now it looks like John (eizoragad), Rob Spangler,
ScruffyDude, and myself are all going to carpool in my Saturn and the
Lawlers are going seperate. Thanx James for remembering my box, now i
dont have to ask. I believe the four of us have all pre-regd. look
forward to seeing you guys tomorrow. not looking forward to the
hangover from tonight.

| Well the buzz of the Tourny is wearing off. So it is time to say my thanks to the host store, All Fun&Games, and to forkedmoon for stepping in as the events Judge. On a side note, Nick..... my wife requests a D20 from you the next time we are up, something about you draining all of the good luck from her dice rolls.

We also got a walk in appearance of the youngest Miss Mackey (all of a week old), shown off by the proud papa Kiddoc. I'll get together my tournament report at some point today. | |
