| | Drove from Pittsburgh down to the Glen Burnie Maryland Qualifyer today (4 hours). Pulled a howler, and a bralani, got my diaper kicked by Mike & Lord Raven. I dropped after 2-2. It was a long drive home...
I can't wait to read a tourney report on how it ended... when I left, the Forgepriest/Vlaakith warband was mopping up.
On the plus side, I had a lot of fun, met some cool people, and got to see a fantastic store. (Games & Comics). Cool place, great judge, very well organized, and it made it a fun time. (THANKS!)
I traded the bralani for a gallon of gas on the way home. (they wouldn't take the Howler though...). | | Now go forth and destroy your enemies... - The Lance (Champion of Minsc and/or Boo)

What was the price of ur gallon of gas? Just curious if it was an even swap? | | Gehenna

| | I heard a Forgepriest and Vlaakith took it. Although I'm not sure what was played after the draft. | | | |

| | - Capt. Bard,
You played much better than I did at my first tournament. My adjustment from 3.5e to Minis took months (time limit, targeting closest, and no 5ft step rule in particular). Hang in there, play a lot (get on vassal if you can), and I predict you will do very well at the next set release!

| Charles won the event with an 8-0 record... John dropped out of the final match vs Charles, to take prizes and go home was very late. Patrick lost to Charles and Mike lost to John in the first round of the play-offs.
Team Amish started 6 out of 21 players and finished 6 of the top 7 players. Congrads to SYB for making it into the top 4 amongst us Amish!
Lance - wish your drive wasn't so long - would have liked to talk to you more. You played very well considering your pulls!
Was a great day for all those involved!
Hope to see everyone again in D.C. for Winter Fantasy (XP)
