| European DDM Championships 2007
The 2nd Annual European DDM Championships will be held in Manchester, England, on the 23rd and 24th of June. This will be part of Game 07 “The Premier Gaming Event“ (Game 07) with over 2500 players coming to play all kinds of organised play events.
Cash prizes, Automatic GenCon Indy 2007 Qualification, Promo Minis and more.
Saturday 23rd of June:
• Swiss rounds of 200 pt constructed, assault – top 8 to finals <-- CHANGED
• Dropout Tournament – 200 pt constructed
• Late night drafting and other fun gamer-organised DDM tournaments.
Sunday 24th of June:
• Top 8 player knockout for European Champion
• Epic Tournament
• Sealed Tournament
• Junior European Championship
DDM leagues, drafting events and other fun formats will also be played during the quiet times

How do you attend? This is an OPEN event – anyone can attend. The booking system will shortly be live at Game 07, where you will soon be able to book your entry tickets, tournament attendance, hotels and food all in one place.
This tournament will have feeder events throughout Europe. Three of these have already taken place, the Swedish D&D Games Day, The Italian Championships and Coupe du France. The winner of each championship will receive 2 “Byes" – this means that they do not have to play the first two rounds. If you are involved in running/planning such championships for your country, please contact me. The event has to be DCI Sanctioned to be eligible.
The 2006 European Championships had 55 players; we hope to have 100+ this time. You can read more about the Game 06 event.
We also want to congratulate the players who went to America to play at the World Championships, Cesare Carini (Orion - Italy), who came 3rd in the Main Event and 3rd in the Epic Tournament, Massimo Barni (Gorstag - Italy) who won the Epic Tournament and Roger Witte (Janos M. - Germany) who won the Grinder.
Game 07 will host some other very large competitions, including a Magic: the Gathering™ PTQ, Dreamblade 1k, VS Master Challenge, Confrontation European Open, Warmachine European Open and many, many more. A number of seminars from manufacturers, film festival, a fantastic Dungeon Delve and very special RPGA convention will also be run at Game 07. The venue will host 24 hour gaming with overnight drafting, community organised games, an open bar, and singles traders of cards and miniatures.
