The 2007 UK Nationals tournament is a National level event featuring prizes, DCI points towards World Championships and “byes” at the 2007 European DDM Championships.

Tournament Schedule:

Saturday 14th of April:

Registration from 10:30 A.M – 11:00 A.M. Tournament begins at 11:30.

Format

• Swiss rounds, with top 8 play off
• Constructed Format
• 200-pt Assault
• Check http://www.thedci.com for Constructed-format rules.
• Players will be required to register their warbands.
• All tournament legal maps are UK Nationals legal
o These include maps from Dragon 337 and the Fantastic Locations packs, but not the Gargantuan Blue Dragon map, and only maps that are explicitly marked as tournament legal.
o Only the corrected Broken Demongate map may be used.

Rounds (Number and Length)

• If a winner has not been determined when the round time has expired, the “end of match” procedure will be followed (see floor rules, section 816)
• Stalling and slow play rules will be strictly enforced during the tournament.
• The number of Swiss rounds is determined by the chart below:

Attendance # of Swiss Rounds 9-16 3
17-32 4
33-64 5

• Once the Swiss tournament has completed the top 8 advance to single elimination.
o If there is enough interest, we will run a side tournament for those eliminated
• All Swiss rounds are 60 minutes in length
• Finals will run until the end of the match (see floor rules, section 816)

Notes

• REL 3
• Head Judge: Peter Scott
• K-value: 32
• Players are responsible for bringing the following items to the tournament:
o Their warband, including their chosen Battlemap
o D20 dice – not too small, too large or spin-down dice
o Clearly marked minis where there are duplicates
o Clear method of marking off spells, recording damage and other effects.
o Original or cards printed off Wizards website for each mini.
• Players are responsible for knowing all DCI rules (http://www.wizards.com/dci/downloads/DDM_FLR_March06_EN.pdf) .

Prizes

• Winner gains a unique sculpt trophy
• Winner gains Game 07 T-Shirt and 2 Byes in the European 200-pt constructed championship at Game 07
• Prize boosters for top 8 players
• Promo minis
• Shop Credits at Patriot Games – up to £50 depending on the number of players – for the top 4 players.
• Spot prizes during the tournament.

One of these days WoTC will update their tournament page when I'm in the top 5... they never seem to do when I'm in that bracket :(

Indeed - Cesare played well.
#1 UK player was Froffenhoffer with his ForgeHorror combo.

One of these days WoTC will update their tournament page when I'm in the top 5... they never seem to do when I'm in that bracket :(
