Well, depsite NO replies on any of the three boards I posted (H, MxM and WotC), fortunately via the meetups.com group (Garden State Gamers's Society - or GS2) we had 6 players.

I supplied boosters to myself and three others as well as maps. Since three guys were new, we just picked three non-confusing maps and used them (you had to change map each time)

We only had one duplicate rare (two shield guardians went to to metal toe in round 2). All matches went to time and everyone enjoyed it.

Still had to bring a couple RPG oriented guys up to date on the War Drums era rules, which changes strategy some, but just made them all smarter.

I went 2-0 with Sune, Thrall, Guardian, Vamp Hunter, changeling rogue, bat. Gave the heal to the bat and either confuse or castigate to the Guardian.

We are hoping to get the FLGS to get us onto the DCI radar and start making our "Tuesday Bloody Tuesday" nights sanctioned. 3rd Tuesday of every month - would love to get some more participants....

Nice job. Did you have the Thrall before? I didn't remember anyone pulling one in Holmes.

Did not have the Thrall before so it was a ncie pull (made up for 2 MORE blessed hunters)

He hits well and for 20 magic, and with Sune around thats 25.

In neither match did I use the haste - oops. Match 1 I forgot it, could have killed off a slaver. Thrall wasnt injured, so no healing either.

Match 2 I was going to use it on a halfling brawler, but he routed after the first hit. I dont know if I could have then moved and taken my hasted swing - I 'll have to ask that.

Then enemy shield guardian put two shots on him, and arcaniss finished him off, no living creatures around so no soul stealing thing.

And in 2 matches, no humanoid ever attacked Sune (just a blood golem).
