Wow, I went to Tulane between '95 and '00 and I remember going to your game shop - I'm glad to see there's DDM down south! I hope Katrina didn't hit you too hard, but if you're running an event, you must be back in business. I hope everyone attending has a great time!

Thanks for the note.
Galactic Games has been holding at least 1 tournament a month since the November after Katrina. Before that they were holding irregular events monthly.
Down here, Katrina is responsible for the closing of Gamer's Matrix. Indirectly responsible for Gamertopia, Rising Phoenix Games, and Gameworx closing or relocating.
Only Galactic Games and Gamer's Conclave remain in the area.

Well, it's a shame that the community took such a hit, but I'm excited to see that it hasn't died and seems to be thriving! Good luck to everyone at this tournament!
