Indianapolis, IN 56225 Invitations and Eligibility All players in good standing with the DCI who hold an invitation to the 2007 D&D Miniatures Constructed Championship are eligible to compete in the event. The invitation list is compiled by the following criteria: - Returning 2006 D&D Miniatures Constructed Championship winner
- Returning 2007 D&D Miniatures Limited Championship winner
- Top 4 finishers from each D&D Miniatures 2007 Championship Series Qualifier
- Top 8 finishers in the D&D Miniatures Championship Series Open (details below)
- Top 50 D&D Miniatures worldwide DCI Constructed rated players, announced six weeks before the Championship
Format - Assault format Constructed
- 200-point warbands
- Warband lists are required
- Check the www.thedci.com for Constructed-format rules
Tournament Length - 8 Swiss rounds - 60 minutes per round
Maps Maps for each round will be provided on-site. - Round 1: Marketplace
- Round 2: Blue Dragon Map
- Round 3: Field of Ruin
- Round 4: Marketplace
- Round 5: Blue Dragon Map
- Round 6: Field of Ruin
- Round 7: Marketplace
- Round 8: Blue Dragon Map
- Top 8: TBA at the show.
Advancement - All players may participate in all 8 Swiss rounds.
- The top 8 players after the final Swiss round will advance to the top 8 single-elimination finals on Sunday August 19th
Top 8 - Top 8 matches will have a 60-minute time limit
- Where necessary, the standings after the Swiss rounds will still be used to determine final order in the standings.
Prizes First place - $2000 USD
- Opportunity to work with the Wizards of the Coast R&D department to develop a D&D miniature of their choosing, for inclusion within a future set of D&D Miniatures.
- Exclusive hand-painted miniature available only at the Championship
Second place - $1,000 USD
- Exclusive hand-painted miniature available only at the Championship
Third-Fourth place - $500 USD
- Exclusive hand-painted miniature available only at the Championship
- Fifth-Eigth place
- $250 USD
