| Hey everyone,
WHERE: Games of Berkeley - www.gamesofberkeley.com
WHEN: Tuesday August 7th @ 7pm (be there a little earlier)
HOW MUCH: $25
FOR WHAT ?: You get 2 NIGHT BELOW boosters, AND each participant will split one additional booster with their opponent. That's right, 2 and a half NIGHT BELOW boosters for ONLY $25 - AND you get to play!!!
We'll open boosters at 7pm and you'll then have 20 minutes to build your warbands following Limited Rules. We'll then pair up at random and start a one hour round at 7:30pm. After your match is decided, the winner will take first pick from a prize NIGHT BELOW booster, the loser will then take second pick, and so on until you and your opponent have divided the booster evenly. HUZZAH!
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! Every participant will recieve League Prizes such as promo EPIC cards, repainted minis, spell templates, etc.!!!

| Success! We had 8 participants, ranging in skill level from noobs to championship hopefuls! This event only went two rounds, 4 players dropped after round one. A quick run-down of the highlights,
- Two players pulled Lady Vol, but both unfortunately lost their first games...
- One player pulled a Large Gold Dragon, beat out one of the Lady Vol wielding skirmishers in his first round, but in his second round lost to the big winner...
- The big winner (zdrake) played a Large White and and Aspect of Loviatar. He beat out the other Lady Vol wielding skirmisher in the first round (it came down to Lady Vol vs. Aspect of Loviatar). In his second game, zdrake, positioned his minis well to wipe out his Large Gold Dragon wielding opponent's activations and keep the Gold from focusing on the his Large White Dragon. Zdrake then got in a nice critical with his Champ of Dol Dorn and a few cold-infused whips from the Aspect of Loviatar and that was all she wrote for the Large Gold Dragon.
Very nicely played all around! My thanks to everyon who participated, and I hope you might find the time to post your own reports on these skirmishes! | |
