Planet Chaos in Fort Atkinson will be holding its 1st ever D&D Minis Sealed Tournament:

12:30 Registration Opens

Desert of Desolation Set
$30 Entry Fee includes prizes and 2 sealed boosters

Prizes will include boosters, various D&D minis and posters, Black Robed Raistlin promo figure, and...
The first 8 players to sign up also receive a set of the NEW set stat cards printed in full color and printed on bond or better paper (whatever thickness I can jam through my printer without causing damage!).

Players are invited and encouraged to stay after the tournament to play an unsanctioned NEW DDM sealed tournament.

Aside from capping off the V1 games with a trial run of the new rules (See Fatespinner's detailed post in Strategy forum), we had 4 who came out last Saturday despite the snowfall (little did we know at the time a minor precursor of more to come):

3 rounds of sealed:

1st - Josh M. with Eternal Blade & Fishbaron. 3 boosters + CE faction dice
2nd - Nicole S. walked away with 2 boosters + Black Robe Raistlin
3rd - Todd B. took home a booster
4th - Bill C. also took home a booster

Everyone got the Animated Statue Repaint and a cardstock set of DoD new version color printed cards.

Let's just say Planet Chaos is the most prize supportive store I've ever seen, let's recap:

4 Players, $30 apiece
15 Boosters (8 sealed + 7 prize)
CE Faction Dice
Black Robe Raistlin
4 Sets of full color DoD new cards
4 Feral Troll new cards
4 Animated Statue Repaints

I wish I was a player instead of the judge sometimes, geez!

Thanks to all who attended. Stay tuned for an early March "Last Chance for V1" tournament at Planet Chaos.

Wednesday Night 6PM - ??? league play continues, mainly with V2 rules at this point. Join us, I have spare DoD V2 cards if you need to borrow, come early or come late.
