Dungeons of Dreadâ„¢ Prerelease Event Fact Sheet
Event Date
March 29, 2008 at Gallery of Champion Cards - Fayetteville, AR.
Eligibility
All players in good standing with the DCI™ are eligible to compete in D&D® Miniatures Prerelease events.
Format
Sealed format (2 Dungeons of Dreadâ„¢ boosters per player)
200-point warbands
Check www.thedci.com for Limited-format rules
Tournament Length
Swiss rounds – Maximum length of 60 minutes per round
Number of Swiss rounds based on attendance
Advancement
All players may participate in all Swiss rounds
A single-elimination top 4 or 8 may follow the Swiss rounds at the organizer’s discretion
Notes
16K, Casual REL
All Universal Tournament Rules and D&D® Miniatures Floor Rules are in effect for this event unless specifically overruled by information in this format document.
Players must bring pen, paper, map sheets, and appropriate counters
Entry Fee
Entry fee varies by location. Check with your local event organizer for details.Â
Prize Schedule
Each participant receives a Drow Wand Mage alternate-paint mini (while supplies last)
3rd-4th finishers receive 2 Dungeons of Dread expansion boxes each
2nd Place receives 3 Dungeons of Dread expansion boxes
1st Place receives 5 Dungeons of Dread expansion boxes

Entry fee will be $30 which gets you two Dungeon of Dread boosters. The store opens at 12:00 PM so we will start registration then and tentatively start the tournament at 1:00 PM.
I am the local Tournament Organizer and Judge, though I will admit I am not the greatest with the new rules. We will be using the most up to date Rules and Clarifications from the Wizards website that are officially posted. If you think you can make it, I encourage you to come. | |
