On Saturday April 5 at 12 noon at Cyborg One Comics in Doylestown, PA we will be holding a Dungeon of Dread release tournament. The entry fee is set at $25 which gets you two boosters of the newest set just released. From these two boosters you will build a 200pt warband and compete for prizes. Every person who enters will win free prizes of miniatures and promo cards. Other posters, modules, and counters will be given out as well to a few winners. Come out and enjoy the fun. This will be utilizing the new DDM 2.0 rule system.

For those that have never played the new rules you are in for a treat. No more morale checks, you may now target anyone within range, and easier counting of movement are just some of the rule changes to allow a faster, cleaner, and more intuitive game. Everyone who has played both versions has come to love the new rules. So come on out and give it a try. Remember to bring a map or you may borrow a map from me or any of the other players who have plenty of extras.

As I have done in the past, if anyone wishes to play but doesn't want to spend the $25 to enter, then let me know. I will buy the two boosters for you to use during the tournament. At the end of the tournament just return the pieces to me. Any prizes you win are yours to keep!! Just let me know ahead of time if you are interested in taking me up on this offer.

Also on Saturday March 29 is the prerelease tournament of Dungeon of Dread at Alternate Universe in Holmes, PA. The start time is at 10am. For those interested in a double, Jester's Playhouse in Northfield, NJ (near Atlantic City) is having their prerelease the same day in the evening. The start time is at 7pm. Three or four of us will be playing in both. Come on out and join in the fun.
