I judged and will make my comments as such.  I don't have a record of all the bands.  So, if any players would like to post, that would be appreciated.

Some passing comments...

1) There were 5 pit maps played in the first round, and there were 11 promo Drow Wand Mages (and 0 pulled Drow Wand Mages) in play.  In general, the Drow Wand Mage was one of the top-performers for the day.

2) The band that took first was a weird mash of pieces led by the Bralani and Drow Wand Mage.  Second place was a Death Knight band, third was a Baphomet band, and I don't recall fourth.

3) There were a lot of Dwarf Warlord bands that did very well (though it seems they ended up 5th through 10th or so).  The Immolith bands got taken out fairly early, often through rotten luck.

4) One player was using a 4-activation band with the Eye of Flame and the Rakshasa Baron, and it looked really fun to play.

Final Standings
1) 15 Josh Hughes (azuretide)
2) 12 Rich Rennhack (Reny15)
3) 12 Alex Paul (aka Vrecknidj Jr.)
4) 12 Dan Vahovick
5) 9 Matt Bass (mgbass)
6) 9 Dan Schrock
7) 9 Joshua Sprung
8) 9 Jason Rothenberger
9) 9 Eric Szajko
10) 9 Tony Gullotti (Dagaron)
11) 6 Chris Kreskai
12) 6 Matt Dowd (mattdiss, I think that's the same Matt)
13) 6 Zach Sykes
14) 6 Mike Dowd
15) 3 Ben Roberts
16) 3 Bryan Szajko
17) 3 John Hibbard
18) 3 Nick Worsham
19) 3 Ben Dowd
20) 0 Nate Velie

Things went fairly smoothly.  I only botched a couple of rulings, one of which never came into play before I corrected it anyway, and another didn't change the outcome of a game (whew!).

The store was generous with its location and prizes and we worked hard to make sure that we maintained a fun atmosphere.

Thanks to Fantasy Games in South Bend for the event!
