So I've been scanning the DDM offerings on the Gen Con website and came across a variant called Monster Mash, with the following description: "Are you bad enough to be considered 'Bad to the Bone'. Take out the "good guys" before they take you down. You control one or more iconic D&D monster in a fight to be the last one standing. All miniatures are provided." Any insight into how this is played? And do you get to keep the provided minis? SGB

Beats me, I've been wondering the same thing. I don't know who's running the event. I wonder if there's a contact email address somewhere.

I played this at Origins. The guys have made their own maps that fit together nicely and pretty much take up a whole table. They've changed a few rules to make it so you can't just run and hide too. Basically you have to advance towards someone if you don't do something else, ie cast a spell, ranged attack, special ability etc. Everybody gets a random mini, some of which they've changed the skirmish stats on a tad to try and balance them despite different costs, and battles it out to the last man standing. I remember seeing most of your basic titans and a few weird ones, like the Kobold Horde, or the Lich Necro that comes with a Minotaur Skele minion.

Assuming he still has the same prize pool, it's a great place to stock up on Bladebearer Hobgoblin repaints. Dude had like 2 case boxes full of them when I was there and everyone in the game gets one.

Hey Woman, Hey Woman!! Listen here. Since your ol' man ain't got no heart, maybe you'd like to see a real man. I bet you stay up late every night dreamin' you had a real man, don't ya'? I tell you what, bring your pretty little self over to my apartment tonight and I'll show you a real man!
