| According to the Advanced Rules booklet, the starter set contains 1 random figure, 4 map tiles with 2" hexes, plus the following:
M4A1 Sherman 6-Pdr Antitank Gun Panzer IV Ausf. G PAK 38 Antitank Gun "Red Devil" Captain SS-Haupsturmfuhrer M1 Garand Rifle Bazooka Vickers MG Team Mauser Kar 98k MG42 Team
The booster comes with 9 random miniatures (one of which is rare). There's rumor of themed (Axis or Allies) boosters, but I've seen no evidence of this.
Most tanks appear to be rares, but at least two (those in the starter pack) are uncommons. It hasn't been stated officially anywhere, that I know of, whether there will be a tank in every booster. Probably at least a vehicle in every booster.

| You get a mix of allied and axis units that are always the same in a starter, plus one totally random rare. The Sherman and Panzer IV tanks that come in the starter are uncommon, otherwise I think all the other tanks are rares.
From the Advanced Rulebook:
M4A1 Sherman (tank), 6-Pounder Antitank Gun, Panzer IV Ausf. G (tank), PAK 38 Antitank Gun, “Red Devil” Captain, SS-Haupsturmführer, M1 Garand Rifle, Bazooka, Vickers Machine-Gun Team, Mauser Kar 98k(armored car), MG 42 Machine-Gun Team, one random Rare.
Basically you should be able to field a team from whatever side your rare ends up being, and with a couple of boosters you should be able to field a team from either side.

Not an armored car, actually, this is the German equivalent of the American M1 Garand. In other words, the basic German rifleman.
Quoted from http://www.surplusrifle.com/mauser98k/index.asp --
The German Model Kar 98k Mauser Carbine is a modified, shortened version of the WWI Gewehr 98 rifle, the Mauser turn-bolt action, developed by Paul Mauser in 1898. The Kar 98k (98k) was adopted for use by the German Wehrmacht in 1935. It was the primary German infantry rifle in WW II, and was noted for its excellent accuracy.
During WWII the 98k was developed in very large quantities in most German occupied countries. After WWII many countries; East Germany, Norway, China, and even Israel issued the rifle to homeland troops. Some rifles were rebarreled to 30.06 and .308 calibers.

| Current guesses on a booster;
It looks like all the rares are AFV's. Either tanks or assault guns.
There are 6 or 7 uncommon vehicles so every booster should have 1 rare & 1 uncommon vehicle. I don't think you will get more than 2 vehicles in a booster unless the 3rd one is a jeep.
The uncommon vehicles are; Sherman M4a1 Pzkw IVg 251/1 halftrack 222 armoured car Humber scout car Jeep and (if the semi-official count of 15 rares is accurate) a 3rd tank.
Starter is about 115pts + rare each booster is about 55pts + rare the rares vary wildly from less than 10pts to more than 50pts.
Since the starter contains a medium tank & commander for both sides. You should get playable axis/allied forces in 1 starter & 2 boosters.

| | So then we can assume that there are no common vehicles in this set? No motorcycle units or anything like that. | | Sean Banks Champion of Elementals Official Organizer Gen Con 05 maxminis Event | Winterfantasy 06 maxminis Event | Gen Con 06 maxminis Event | Winterfantasy 07 Community Event | |

| Aboslutly certain, no Motorcycles or cavelry in this set. If you look on the links published by Vulturedoodle you can see photos of all 48 units. while the exact name/weapons of some of the infantry is not identifiable from those photos, you can ID every vehicle. And get an exact count of the infantry/nationality. Between those photos & the previews we know 6 uncommon vehicles. | | Don't worry about the current metagame.
