The usefullness of A&A minis for getting the most out of other systems will be awsome - and for me, this is the real attraction. Once we get a better look at how these things actually collect, it will be really interesting to see how people use them.

THEN AGAIN - I first approached the D&D minis with no intention of even really looking at the skirmish rules, and I have to say that they actually ended up being really cool. I don't know if I can contain my "historical accuracy" mindset enough to take the same liberties with WWII that I'm able to with D&D, but ultimately these arn't really "WWII MINIS," they are "Axis & Allies," and that's already about as far from history as any fantasy could be.

In any case - the gaming should be fun!
