Stuka has 4 range, 10 dice vs tanks, 7 dice vs inf

Motorcycle is speed 5 and 3/3 def

Char Bis is 5/5 1939 unit w/ a hull mounted gun like the Lee.

all speculation of course[)]

I would have guessed Stuka to be something like 40-50, and be a beast against tanks. Still, it looks great!

Unmanned motorcycle - even if they left crew from the jeep, they could have put them into the cycle.

Still wondering about fighters's techniques...

The beast against tanks bit, could be even worse considering they even mention Ulrich Rudell..... the stuka master tank slayer....[:D]

Well as we are all wondering, I'm very curious to see the new game machanics they mention, the reason the stat card is mostly blank.

So what are we thinking for the Stuka, speed 10 or 12? That would be what 60 miles an hour. Anyone know the stall speed for a Stuka?

From what I can gather planes will not move around on the board, you will place them on the board during your movement phase and remove them at the end of the assault phase. They will more than likely use the same classification as vehicles to determine number of dice used against them, it would only make sense. They don't have an overly powerful defense which shouldn't affect the game anymore than paratroopers did, it's just that if you don't hit them while they are on the board your opponent can remove them and place them somewhere else in the next turn. I'm really curious to see how this all works out.

Opening Salvo - Part 3

Complete cards for the Stuka and Luftwaffe Infantry (finally), plus the stats for the Stug IIID assault gun and SU-85 tank destroyer. New minis appear to be a Sherman 105 and a German armored car (Puma).

The Puma will be the Germans new Strike and Fade tank killer.

Very interesting. So the big question will be how does the token system work for planes. So if a plane is disrupted and can't move, does it crash?

No planes are removed from the board every turn. If it takes a disruption token with it = can't come back onto the board until it(token) is removed.

The miniature pictured is the 50mm one. The 75mm one did not have a turret.

I reaaly like the addition of the planes, it adds a whole new way of thinking when planning an army.

Locally we do this format.
1939/40 100pts
1941/before 100pts
1942/before 150pts
1943/before 150pts
1944/before 200pts
1945/before 200pts

Its a 6 cycle for tournaments.

Wow, that is very impressive. How many people do you get on avaerage for each event? In my area I've been demoing and running small events to build up interest, but we never seem to get more then a few players at one time.
