| I have noticed that the Pak 38 & 40, the stug-III and some other minis have the right Panzer grey color, but the Tigers, Panther, jagdpanther, PzKw IV, ausf D & F2, Nashorn and others have this light grey color.
After checking my reference books the only thing I could come up with was that in winter German tank crews washed their tanks with a white paint that when wearing off started to look greyish.
Did WOTC try to get this effect or they just simply could not do it??
If some of the minis are right what happened with the others...?? | | my list:http://www.maxminis.com/hwlist.asp?user=narethkraag completed trades: Capnfrank, Sturmkraehe, Jeff Wilder (x5), Mrfurious, Shinobi, Hockeyfan, Kyrin x2, Scepter, Archimagus, Enginer230, The Last Huzzah, War golem, RedSkullz Definetely bad trader: Invictus

| | I don't think WotC knows what their doing when it comes to the correct camo skeams the Germans used. IIRC neither the Panther or Jadpanther were PZR Grey. That color skeam stopped around late 41 early 42 | | They just don't know what's good in life...Conan, tell them what is good in life. To rip the boosters. To count the minis spilled out before you, and to hear the indifference of the women... | |

Yes, I also remember those tanks using the "ambush" pattern with yellow, green and brown colors.......... go figure.. | | my list:http://www.maxminis.com/hwlist.asp?user=narethkraag completed trades: Capnfrank, Sturmkraehe, Jeff Wilder (x5), Mrfurious, Shinobi, Hockeyfan, Kyrin x2, Scepter, Archimagus, Enginer230, The Last Huzzah, War golem, RedSkullz Definetely bad trader: Invictus

| I suspect the problem is QC in both paint preparation and R&D. Or maybe it's simply a lack of enthusiasm on the designer's part. Either way, the paint jobs mostly suck.
And it's "scheme." Not being critical, just trying to be helpful.

| | I too have notice the lack of accuracy when it comes to the paint schemes. I thought it would be cool if they put repainted Uncommon tanks in the monthly OP kits. | | Life is like a dogsled team, unless you are the lead dog, the view never changes.
