| After playing one game with the minis in the starter, I've come to believe that the Hellcat is garbage compared to the (uncommon!) Sherman. It's only packs a tiny bit better offensive punch against enemy tanks than the Sherman and is weaker than a kitty. Am I missing something about it?

Nope, it should have had strike and fade, then it would be a desent unit.
BTW- I accidently edited your post, then put it back to its origanol form. Sorry[:I] | | They just don't know what's good in life...Conan, tell them what is good in life. To rip the boosters. To count the minis spilled out before you, and to hear the indifference of the women... | |

| | IIRC tank destroyers relied on surprise or ambush tactics, there should be some SA that reflected this, since many tank destroyers were very succesful in WWII | | my list:http://www.maxminis.com/hwlist.asp?user=narethkraag completed trades: Capnfrank, Sturmkraehe, Jeff Wilder (x5), Mrfurious, Shinobi, Hockeyfan, Kyrin x2, Scepter, Archimagus, Enginer230, The Last Huzzah, War golem, RedSkullz Definetely bad trader: Invictus | |

| Hellcat is much too fragile compared to the sherman (for almost the same points) The only tactic for getting an advantage with it is to hide behind cover till your opponent gets close. Then use the speed:5 to move to the flank of a heavy tank (tiger/churchill) You loose the hellcat, but if it damages a more expensive target. That's a good trade. The problem is that if your opponent plays a sherman swarm, they don't have a target worth enough points to justify this suicidal tactic. | | | |

| | The hellcat is why I had to buy more A&A minis. Just that bad thatI couldn't field a competitive team if I had to use it. Maybe the new tile pieces will help make it more viable but I doubt it. | | Champion of Cyclops
