| With the amphibious nature of some of the pieces in the D-day set, are there any plans to modify the game to allow for better use of these pieces by adding to the potential map and objective set-ups?
It seems a shame to have water assault/carriers and be only on land. | | Champion of Cyclops

| One rare landingcraft can't be base for a scenario type, but I don't think they've made landing craft to be used in separately made scenarios or to go round in lakes. I believe there's coming a landing -scenario in addition to normal assault -scenario, but that would mean there would be at least one uncommon landing craft, if not common/more than one in addition to the rare we've seen.
Paratroopers and airplanes can of course attend any scenario, but right now there would be some special rule needed to add vehicles to landing scenarios. One possibility is of course to make some kind of rule where at some point some vehicles would be assumed to have landed nearby and move along the beach to the actual combat area. | | Vindicated AtG Called shot: 2nd Huge Red Dragon My collected trade reference links Star Wars tactical combat -project My modelling/terrain pages Suomen miniatyyrikeräilijät / Miniature collectors of Finland | |

| | I asked this question because I enjoy limited format tournaments more so than constructed. It would just be a bad day when you get a landing craft in your box with no where to land it. I guess I need to realize that AAM is more of a sceanrio based game that maybe needs to reconsider how its tournaments are designed. A scenario based tournament would definitley add to it. Either that or maybe I am just too competitive. [B)] | | Champion of Cyclops
