| Once again, I'll have to praise the game. I got excited with the planes and got 7 of them mainly for just collecting them, but otherwise I have only 3 Rares for extra spice, and I'm perfectly happy for my collection that is composed of c/uc except for previously mentioned ones. If I couldn't have done that I wouldn't have gotten into the game - I'm collecting DDM&SWM too!
I have KV-1 which is pretty important piece for russians, Tiger I which is fun-to-play Heavy tank for Germany and Ho-Ni for Japanese for some Anti-tank capacity. Too bad that other countries than germany haven't got much great tanks after Base set, but Germany has got pretty impressive collection already.
And about the other countries, russian UC tanks are great for their cheap cost, Shermans are quite about everything US needs as tanks and Stuarts are really excellent pieces for Brits, strengthened by Archers. If only Japanese would have better uncommon tanks... That and uncommon T-34 would make it perfect! [:D]
I've never played really competitively, all the games have been more themed than competitive. The game has also been great source of terrain building inpsiration for me, if you haven't seen my terrains you can see them (and some WIP's) at
