| I would strongly suggest the use of "green stuff". Green stuff can be purchased from FLGS or from on line retailers under the proper name of Kneadatite. It is a two part epoxy that comes in a ribbion or a tube of two colors, blue and yellow. THe parts are mixed together and yield a green color. Hence the "greenstuff".
I have used it to make Khorne Bloodthirsters in to Bearded Devils and other things that needed a little alteration to enhance its looks. The green stuff (and other two part epoxies) are waht sculpters use to make the sculpts of minis before they are made in metal.
I would try this stuff as the worst that it will do to you (unless you eat it) is turn your fingers a green or get some of the individual parts under your finger nails. [:D] Hope that helps you out | | Ambassador of FUN!!!

| Also if you go the greenstuff route (Which is your best bet) make sure you practice before you actually do it, greenstuff is great but you need to practice to learn to get it right.
Another option is to find a figure that has appropriate feet(like the Dire Apes) and glue them into place, you still may need greenstuff to fill the gap, if the gap is really small a bit of Tacky Glue in the gap will usually work.

| | You could also use the green stuff to make more fur or hair. Lotus eater is right you will want to practice before goin live...like carpenters say, "Measure twice, cut once." [:D] | | Ambassador of FUN!!! | |

| | I used a snow accent type paint to flock the base of my winter type creatures. Why not just bury its feet in about 2 feet of fake snow? The feet of my Frost Giant and Ice Trolls are barely visible. I have a Dwarf who stands hip high in the stuff. | | best wishes, Pappabear5 | |

Ooo.. Best idea yet, think I'll go with that. Thanks all for the replies, I'll post pics when I get to doing them. | | Champion of the Yeti (large uncommon please!) Assistant to the Regional Manager

| Red - the D&D minis are soft enough that a exacto knife isn't needed. I usually use a pair of wire snips or dikes to trim them.
Some tips with the green stuff :
If you want to keep it smooth and not sticking where it shouldn't be, use some water (or spit!) on your finger and run it gently along the epoxy.
Heat speeds up the cure time, cold keeps it fresh. I have stored green-stuff in the fridge before to keep it good.
Also try not to work on huge areas all at once. It's easier to keep the green stuff from smudging, if yu have a place to put your fingers!
If Temperance is floating around he may be able to give you some more tips (he is the sculpting savant!).

Hey all, I'm jumping into the conversions and painting with both feet. I want to convert one or two of my Feral Minos to Yeti for my cold weather campaign.
Don't mean to stir things up here and I certainly am interested in seeing how the Feral Mino would convert into a Yeti, but........... Wouldn't it just be easier to trade for a Wampa and use it as a ready made Yeti? Just a thought.

Those Wampas are pretty durn hard to get with them being VR and from Rebel Storm. I wish they had waited and made them Uncommon in Universe. Plus I have 6 Feral Minotaurs anyway. Actually I've been wanting a Wampa to be a Wendigo/Atshen from Native American lore/Frost and Fur/many other sources. | | Champion of the Yeti (large uncommon please!)
