I've never used Hirst Arts stuff, are those blocks painted or is that the way they look straight out of the mold?

Those tiles look really nice. Whatever you do don't get discouraged at the amount of time a project takes. HA stuff is all about taking it slow. Thinking of shortcuts before acting them out. [)] Something that I found out the hard way....

those are straight from the molds with dark grey Merlin's Magic Plaster. Its quite effective. I currently am trying to find a way to get less and less and hopefully no air bubbles. Its not very noticeable but I'm somewhat of a perfectionist. Peace out Krackers

Try using the wet water and punding your pour surface. Gets rid of the bubbles in some of the most under cut molds....[:D]

Just wanted to let you knoe that I am very jealous of the castings you are doing. [:p] As I am almost out of plaster and only have so many hours in the day for the various real world things. I need to get my priorites straight!! [)] and get some more plaster this weekend!!!
