| I've been experimenting with their mix ratio. I found that useing 15ml of water per 100g of the resinrock seemed to work better.
When using the 20ml to 100g, the molds had a powdery residue on them and quite a bit of water left on top after the resin settled. With the 15ml to 100g, I noticed I didn't get as much shrink and no powder residue (except fo the flowstone. It still has the residue, but not as bad).
All in all, I like the stuff. It seems pretty strong (I dropped one of my walls and it didn't chip). [:p]

| | how flexible do your molds have to be to 'pop out' the plaster? I can make some out of super sculpy, but once baked they would be pretty solid and thinking would break first. I could semi-bake the molds, but they might not keep as much detail. any advice would be appreciated [:)] | |

| I use Alumilite Quick set Silcone mold maker. It dries in about 4 hours at room temp and is pretty flexible. So far I've had great results with them. I've make wall and floor blocks and Flagstone. So far it's the best stuff I've come across.[)]
I get the Alumilite at Hobby Lobby. It's the only place around here that sells anything like it. | |
