| I should also mention here that my army has been named, with help from and thanks to Cthulhufnord.
My Slaanesh army is known as Lascivious Slaughter.
Here are some pics of another model that is in my army. This model was a joint effort between Mrs. DF and myself. It was started yesterday morning, and finished at about 1:00pm today.
Hellcannon.
Hopefully I will either have my unit of 22 Daemonettes of Slaanesh or my unit of 16 Chosen Chaos Warriors of Slaanesh, finished next.

Oops. Wrong army.
It looks pretty good DF, although I must admit I expected a bit more "colour" from a Slaaneshi force. But I could just be bitter because I have no outlet for that kind of wargaming anymore (and because GW keeps outdating their stuff every six months)...[)]
Are the skulls on the wings part of the model or a conversion? The look REALLY nice. | |

| Actually I do remember the Keeper of Secrets... the original major demon of Slaanesh being quite colorfull. Lots of Pink and Purple.

The Daemon Prince is Bel'Akor... he is a mediocre demon in the warhammer world, but I am sure he will find time in my RPG sessions.

...and you are correct CotCB. Slaanesh prefer contrasting colours such as dark purples, golds, silvers, brass, dark blues, etc. But don't worry, my upcoming unit of Daemonettes that Mrs. DF is painting will not dissapoint. Also, my unit of Chaos warriors and my unit of Chaos Marauders will display the Slaaneshi colours proudly as well.
The Bel'Akor model is as is straight from the box. (then assembled and painted of course)

Yep, he/she sure is. I am hoping to get one of them soon, but at $90.00AU a pop, I may be waiting a while. I am only using Bel'Akor as a stand in until my Slaaneshi Daemon Prince gets here, from that I will 'advance' to a Greater Demon of Slaanesh.

I actually still have one from when we were playing WFRP 12+ years ago. Too many sentements tied up in that mini to ever let it go though. It is very Cool.

That is a plausable idea, but unfortunately, only GW miniatures are allowed in tourneys, and I play in quite a few tourneys in my area.

| I must say, I liked the goblin (chariot?) that you last posted better. This figure's a bit monochrome, and as a result doesn't show off the painting talents as well as a figure that uses more color.
That's got to be taken with the reminder that I still love the painting job, I just like the goblin one even better. | |

Heya Thanks Mythmere. Mrs DF won an official GW sanctioned painting competition with that mini (The Goblin Chariot). It has a special spot in her 'painting heart' that mini.

| Well hopefully the Chaos Warriors are only a day away from completion, but the Daemonettes are going to be a while yet. Just to tide those of you who are interested over for a while though, here is a few pics of the first completed Daemonette. (It has yet to be based however).

I can't wait to see the rest of the daemonettes, they do look much better than the old style.
In fact the only chaos army figures I like the older version of are the chaos warriors. I like the old 1989 style warriors the best. There were about 50 of the little buggers and they all looked different and slightly warped. | | | |

Yeah mate, still strollin' along the miniatures hobby (in one form or another). My DF (Dwarven Forge) days are behind me know, but I still break out the resin goodness from time to time. At the moment it is/has been the step back(wards?) into GW stuff that has me going now.
But today I had a brainfart, and have decided to once again re-enter the DDM world, albeit slowly and cautiously.
Thanks to everyone for the kinds words on the painting abilities of myself and Mrs DF. Hopefully the pics of the Slaanesh Deamonettes will be up soon. Scenery building has taken over the last 2 weeks, and the minis are only getting done as a 'wind down' project after making rivers, waterfalls, and beachfronts for my gaming table.

Bloody Daemonettes!!!! I am starting to wonder if they will ever get finished... sigh. They are all currently flesh coloured, but nothing else... I have to stop bringing more minis into the house. Mrs DF has taken ownership of 3 more minis which she has vowed to get painted before my precious'ss Daemonettes.... sigh
Good thing about this though, is that I will have a pic of Mrs DF's latest masterwork up on here soon (couple more hrs probably). The first of my 2x Spawns of Chaos.
