| Weezer, Here is my take on what if I started out with:
A matching floor tile and wall tile is a great start IMHO. I started out with the flagstone floor tile and the matching wall. This allows for the “complete” dungeon making. But you are going to want some accessories and the fieldstone accessories is one of the best as it has a great general purpose door, stairs and some pillars. All around good mold and glad that I have it.
The other side of the coin, and what I am currently working on when I am not otherwise occupied, is the gothic dungeon set. Using the same idea of matching floor and walls along with the gothic dungeon builder (accessories mold) is turning out to be a lot of fun as with the builder and the basic wall mold I can churn out some bricks. Thus reducing the time it takes to make some dungeon pieces. I also found out that because of my use of the stuff that one of the guys in my game group picked up some molds as well. We are talking about getting together and doing some major casting to churn out projects the other person might want and need. So it is another great way to get together and hang with friends!
The HA site has a message board for tips and tricks (the videos on the main site are awesome!!) along with mold suggestions and such. Unfortunately, it has a “chat” component and the message board there is blocked from where I am currently working from. Also, the other draw back IMHO, is that the response time is not as fast as it is here. Possibly, for the same reason that I can’t get to it as it is blocked.
Welcome to the addiction…yet another one [:D]

| I have bought 5 molds from them and still haven't found the time to pour enough pieces to build something. Perhaps I should stop playing EC and spend that time pouring plaster ...
Edit: Damn that mouse! (accidentally submitted)
I highly suggest the matching floor and wall as well. I bought those first, and after the first few pours i got excited and ordered an accessory mold, a tower mold (i think; for stairs), and i ordered the wall piece (to make walls faster and easier. I think this group makes a wonderful starting point. | | | |

| I just bought some of these molds. Now I'm just waiting for the Merlin’s magic to get here so I can get started. Not sure what your budget is but here are the molds I got.
Fieldstone Wall Mold #70 Fieldstone Accessories Mold #71 Dragon's Teeth Accessory Mold #80 Flagstone Floor Tile Mold #260 Wooden Plank Mold #220 Wood Shingle Roof Mold #240
I plan to do exactly what you are doing. (Make dungeons and then expand from there) I think those 6 molds will do the trick nicely. If you’re not too worried about making buildings you could leave out the last 2 molds. I suppose the only thing I regret is not getting a fieldstone tower mold so I could do curved dungeon rooms, but I'll probably pick that up later.
I hope that is somewhat helpful.

| The topic of time comes up with the HA vs Dwarven Forge comparison. It is a drawback. But the amount of fun that I have, albeit at times frustrating outweighs the overall time constrains.
The main issue for when you get the casting times down is going to be “how big” of a project do you want. With that I am making smaller parts that can be joined together. In the same type of manner the Dwarven Forge stuff is made to inter-connect.

| Sounds good I will pop over there and get a more indepth look. But those molds you suggested I would probably get a few and just skip the building ones for now. Just stick to dungeons for awhile and do the small pieces to all form together and make a changing dungeon.

| | I started out just making "floor tiles", even though I had the wall parts as well. It is just now that I have gotten to the "building" part. Just getting more into it I guess...[:D] | | Ambassador of FUN!!! | |
